We are celebrating 20 years this August. We hope you can join us at the winery for some light jazz music, food and some special wine. We will have Barrel tours, where you can sample the '13 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 13' Saperavi, a Cabernet Sauvignon Vertical and a Petit Verdot Vertical! Marti and Tom are also pulling some of the first wines they ever made! What a treat! We ask that you call and make reservations for what tour / vertical you would like and what older vintages you choose to sample. The information is on the back of your invitation that you will receive in the mail. Please email or call the winery to make your reservation and to ask any questions. We can't wait to celebrate with you! http://www.standingstonewines.com/events/default.asp
Wow! Where did the time go! How did we get to 20 years?! What will we do next? As you all know, we rarely take time to have big parties, preferring our small, wine geeky vertical tastings and barrel cellar tours and tastings. But, as we thought about this big deal of being open for 20 years one thing became clear - we need to celebrate this milestone. And we want you to join us. So, August 23, from 6 - 9 pm, join us for our Anniversary Celebration. We'll provide the stellar view, a tent, and music from the fabulous Burns Sisters Band. We'll have wine, beer and food for purchase. And we'll really enjoy reminiscing with you about the various vintages - the weather, the wines, the people, and more. More details will follow as we nail them down, but please save the date now and plan to join us on August 23, from 6 - 9 pm. We look forward to seeing you at Standing Stone Vineyards to start the celebration of our 20th anniversary! http://www.standingstonewines.com/events/default.asp
