Adirondack Museum – Fall Fest and Fiber Arts Fair – October 4, 2014

This year’s event will be filled with fabulous fiber-arts demonstrations, displays, a knit-in, presentations, plus quilts, woolens, scarves, and other items for sale by local artisans.
Fun for the whole family will include wagon rides, pony rides, pumpkin painting, apple pressing and cider samples, fall crafts, giant leaf piles for raking and jumping, music performances, and much more!
From October 1 to 13 (Columbus Day), admission is FREE for year-round Adirondack Park residents. Just show proof of permanent residency (such as a driver’s license) and join in the autumn awesomeness during Fall Fest on Saturday, October 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Clean out your closets and cupboards for a good cause! From October 1 to 13, the museum is collecting donations of canned/dried foods and new/gently used winter outerwear and blankets to support the good works of the <ahref=”http: wahacaa.org=”” “=””>Warren – Hamilton Community Action, Indian Lake, NY. Please bring what you can to the Visitor Center lobby the next time you visit (or drive by) the museum!
